Iron, previously known as Blue Crystal is one of the basic materials which can be gathered. Like stone and brimstone, it spawns naturally around the map, but can also be extracted from the ground.

In order to harvest iron, either a mining task must be placed out, or a harvesting task on a surface deposit.
